The EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) was introduced in 2014 with the following objectives:
Ultimately, EIT will contribute to boosting innovation in EIT RIS countries by strengthening linkages among key innovation actors.
RIS countries include Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.
If you are a team or company from one of the RIS eligible countries that hasn’t applied to our BoostUp! 2020 challenge, we invite you to submit your innovative proposal under one of the following three categories.
All submissions should fall under the realm of manufacturing solutions and fit one of the following EIT Manufacturing flagship areas as well as one the technology domains listed in the competition guidelines, rules and regulations linked below.
As part of the event, finalists in the BoostUp! RIS pitching competition will present their ideas and solutions in competition for financial prizes and dedicated packages of support services provided by the EIT Manufacturing Business Creation team.
